Effective January 1, 2008 The Beckley Sanitary Board will iniate a rate increase of 9.5 %. The actual rate increase will stagger over a three year period. The next rate increase will occur January 1, 2009 at 9.5% and then again January 1, 2010 at 7.1%. The increase will be used to fund sewer improvements, and waste water plant improvements.
