Beckley Sanitary Board provides numerous services to protect and sustain the local water environment and improve the quality of life in the greater Beckley area including:

- Operation and Maintanance of the storm sewer systems

- Industrial Pretreatment Monitoring
- Water Quality Monitoring
- Grease trap Inspection
- BSB sponsors and participates in many environmental education initiatives and service projects, including the Piney Creek Watershed Association, Raleigh County Make It Shine, storm drain marking, Sherrie's Sweep and partnerships with local schools and community organizations.
